Alchemical Vessels – A collaborative Installation of Blue pottery in which 41 artists of the Jaipur Kala Chaupal arts residency created individual artworks on the theme of Water utilizing traditional Jaipur Blue Pottery vessels in collaboration with Neerja International, India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of Blue Pottery.

Sirens – Artist Susan Firestone collaborated with the local artisan, Mohammad Junaid whose family has been making lac bangles and art objects finishes for seven generations. They formed unique symbolic shapes by heating small areas of colored resin over a charcoal burner.

Water Altar - Artist Trish Tillman collaborated with local artisans and blacksmiths, to transform a cycle rickshaw into a moveable structure that utilized brightly colored water collection containers and fabrics based on the colors of the Water God Indra.

Various artists worked at Sukriti Studio that has specific spaces and modern equipment for sculpting, mold making, and metal finishing, welding, sandblasting and all the other interrelated activities. This collaboration resulted in awe-inspiring sculptures that that spoke volumes.

Tucked away in Sanganer, a village near Jaipur, is the world’s largest center of hand-made paper where the Kagzi clan preserves the art of hand-made paper. Various artists collaborated with Kagazi to create independent pieces that reflect the robustness and versatility of the medium as well as their creativity.

The Camel’s Path - Artist, Dr. Paula Sengupta collaborated with Ojjas to create a textile work, using mud resist printing, natural dyes, and pigment printing. She further supplemented these with appliqué and embroidery as is her practice.
